NEW HANOVER COUNTY — A Covid-19 cluster has been identified at Eaton Elementary School, New Hanover County Schools system announced in a release Thursday evening.
Defined as five positive cases connected within a 14-day timeframe, the cluster was reported by the New Hanover County Public Health Department. According to contact tracing, the cluster didn’t spread outside the original student group, which means there will be no remote learning needed for the other students in the classroom.
The classroom will be deep cleaned ahead of class resuming tomorrow.
