Brunswick County now scheduling Covid-19 vaccine appointments for ages 12 to 15

BRUNSWICK COUNTY –– Brunswick County Health Services is now providing the Pfizer Covid-19 vaccine to people 12 and up.

Those 12- to 15-years-old recently became eligible after the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention endorsed lowering the age Wednesday.

Starting May 18, all vaccine appointments scheduled through Brunswick County Health Services will be given at Brunswick Community College, located at 50 College Road NE in Bolivia.

Schedule an appointment online here or by calling 910-253-2339.

“This official CDC action opens vaccination to approximately 17 million adolescents in the United States and strengthens our nation’s efforts to protect even more people from the effects of COVID-19,” according to a Brunswick County news release. “Getting adolescents vaccinated means their faster return to social activities and can provide parents and caregivers peace of mind knowing their family is protected.”
