Downtown shooting leaves 23-year-old male dead

WILMINGTON — The Wilmington Police Department are investigating a shooting that left 23-year-old Oarmonz Dikal Days dead on Thursday.

The police responded to a ShotSpotter alert at 6th and Nixon streets around 2:50 p.m. on March 11, according to a release. They found Days in critical condition and immediately had him transported to NHRMC, where he was pronounced deceased upon arrival. 

The Wilmington Police Department are asking for tips in this case to be directed to (910)-343-3609 or the Wilmington, NC PD app.
