CFPUA temporarily closes customer service center for Covid-19 exposure

Cape Fear Public Utility Authority customer service center is temporarily closed.

WILMINGTON – Cape Fear Public Utility Authority is temporarily closing its customer service center after several staff members were placed on leave, partly due to Covid-19 exposure.

The office will close at 2 p.m. and remain closed through at least Tuesday. The authority will announce on its website when it has reopened.

Customers may still use the self-service kiosk in the lobby at 235 Government Center Dr. or visit the other CFPUA customer service center at 305 Chestnut St., which remains open during this time.
