NHCS reports 0 quarantines for second week

SOUTHEASTERN N.C. — New Hanover County Schools was able to confirm 47 Covid-19 cases across its campuses this past school week, according to the district’s dashboard.

For the second week, it has not listed any quarantines in its weekly update. This is likely due to the recent relaxation of statewide guidance, which now only requires students to isolate following exposure to the virus when they are symptomatic or test positive.
