BRUNSWICK COUNTY — A 47-year-old man has been arrested in Brunswick County for allegedly stealing government property.
Southport resident Jeremiah Baley III was arrested on Sept. 1 in regards to Flock camera and solar panel theft. It was worth $1,650 and is propoerty of the Brunswick County Sheriff’s Office. Baley faces a charge of felony possession of stolen goods and property.
Baley is also charged with felony larceny and if convicted, both carry up to a maximum term of 39 months in jail, depending on one’s criminal record.
Baley has been released on a $25,000 bond. His probable cause hearing is scheduled for Sept. 17 according to court documents.
