Monday, Aug. 17

The Brunswick County Board of Commissioners will host a regular meeting at 6 p.m. in the Government Center The agenda includes:
- A rezoning request appeal for Tax Parcel 18500018 from rural low density residential to neighborhood commercial.
- A rezoning request appeal for Tax Parcel 2273A155 from former Sunset Beach ETJ-Mainland multifamily residential to commercial low density
- A public hearing for a special use permit for a kennel (Salty Paws Dog Daycare) on Holden Beach Road SW in Supply
- A request for approval of a contract between the county and NCDHHS for the Mobile Integrated Health and Community Paramedic Grant
- Consideration of a request to form a Cemetery Committee

- Approve $1.3 million increase to Samet for the county-wide emergency services fleet garage
- Infrastructure and controlled growth initiative, including a 20-year utility and master growth plan
- Fill Brad George’s vacant commissioner position
- Request for a Special Use Permit to allow the development of a recreational vehicle park and campground consisting of 236 RV lots in the Holly Township
Tuesday, Aug. 18

- Resolution declaring certain SABLE helicopter equipment as surplus property to be donated to the Brunswick County Sheriff’s Office
- Resolution awarding a construction contract for $4.3 million to King Asphalt, Inc., and approving associated contingency fund, for the Dawson and Wooster Streetscape Improvements Project
The Wrightsville Beach Board of Aldermen will host a regular meeting at 5:30 p.m. in Council Chambers. The agenda includes:
- Approval of a budget ordinance to buy Mobi Mats
- Consideration of several items, including an application for the Loop Improvement Project, a budget ordinance to fund professional services related to the project and the execution of a contract with Balfour Beatty
- Approval of a special events permit for the Stoked to Go Out Pier to Pier Swim
- Adoption of a revised Purchasing and Contracting Policy

The Oak Island Town Council will host a regular meeting at 6 p.m. in Council Chambers. The agenda includes:

Brunswick Regional Water and Sewer H2GO will meet at 5 p.m. at 146 Gregory Road in Belville in the RO Water Treatment Training Room. The agenda includes operation updates.
The New Hanover County Board of Elections will hold its regular meeting on Aug. 19, 5:30 p.m., in the Board Room at the Board of Elections Office, 226 Government Center Dr., to conduct regular business and discuss election-related matters.
