Monday, Aug. 10
Cape Fear Public Utility Authority Executive Committee will meet at 8 a.m. in Miles Conference Room, 2nd Floor, at 235 Government Center Drive. An agenda was not posted by press. The Human Resources Committee meets at 10 a.m. in the Jordan Conference Room.
Wrightsville Beach Board of Aldermen has called a special meeting at 4 p.m. but will enter closed session.
Town of Navassa will have an agenda meeting at 6 p.m. at 338 Main St.
Brunswick County Planning Board will meet at 4 p.m. at 30 Government Center Dr. The agenda includes a 417 single-family unit development, Amber Glen, and a modification for Berkley Bay to reduce the total unit count to 289 from 294, as well as changing all housing types to single-family. Tuesday, Aug. 11

Carolina Beach Town Council will meet at 6 p.m. in council chambers, 1121 N. Lake Park Blvd. The meetings are streamed here and the agenda includes:
- Public hearing for zoning map and text amendment in the UDO to rezone 204 Cape Fear, 206 – 217 Cape Fear, and 3 S Third St from Mixed Use (MX) to a new zoning district called commercial transition (CT) district. Read Port City Daily’s coverage here.

The Burgaw Board of Commissioners will meet at 4:30 p.m. in the Burgaw Town Center, 108 E Wilmington Street. The agenda includes:
- Consider rezoning of 21.53 acres from a residential district to rural agricultural
- Adopting the comprehensive stormwater plan
- Requesting Verizon improve cellular service
Wednesday, Aug. 12

The Topsail Beach Board of Commissioners will meet at 6 p.m. in Town Hall, 820 S. Anderson Blvd. Meetings are livestreamed here. The agenda includes:
- Vote on $10,000 funding request from the Historical Society of Topsail Island
- Vote on noise ordinance amendments to lower the overall decibel limits and shorten the times during the week that decibels can be elevated

The North Topsail Beach Planning Board will meet at 6 p.m. in Town Hall, 2008 Loggerhead Court. Meetings are livestreamed here. The agenda includes the selection of a vice chair.
Carolina Beach Planning and Zoning will meet at 6 p.m. in council chambers, 1121 N. Lake Park Boulevard. A public hearing will be held regarding a modification to the conditional zoning ordinance to update the outdoor amenity areas and allow for 10 percent of the residential units to be short-term rentals. The applicant is The Proximity at Carolina Beach and the meeting is streamed here
Southport Board of Aldermen will meet on Thursday at 6 p.m. at 223 E. Bay St. The agenda includes the HPC ordinance repeal (listed as a consent agenda item), a public hearing for an annexation petition of 1.4 acres at 1501 North Howe St., moratorium request for data centers, and update on the Wilmington Harbor Dredging project. Brunswick County Board of Adjustment will meet at 4 p.m. at 30 Government Center Dr. The agenda includes a special use permit for a “Class I Mining Operation” located at 1607 Longwood Rd. and appeals, including one of a fence height at 2420 William Street SW in Supply, and another regarding the denial of a zoning permit to locate a 1982 single-wide mobile home at 779 Leland School Road NE, Lot 3.
