WILMINGTON — New Hanover County Sheriff’s Office is conducting a death investigation after EMS alerted deputies of two deceased individuals with gunshot wounds.
Early Thursday morning NHCSO deputies arrived at a residence on Rowsgate Lane in Wilmington EMS requested law enforcement assistance. One adult male and one adult female were found dead in the home, both suffering from apparent gunshot wounds.
After press the NHCSO identified the victims as Stephen Larnell Willetts and Tracey Parker Willetts.
In a social media post NHCSO said they believe this is an isolated incident and that there is no threat to the community.
The investigation is active and ongoing.
