BRUNSWICK COUNTY —  GFL Environmental has rescheduled trash and recycling services in Bolivia, NC, due to inclement weather and icy roads still affecting pickup.

Customers who were supposed to receive Monday and Tuesday pickup will have service days on Feb. 9 and 10 instead, as announced by GFL Tuesday afternoon. Due to the delay, the service crew members will collect eight extra 13-gallon trash bags of waste.

Also all recycling services that were scheduled for Feb. 2 and 3 will be picked up Saturday, Feb. 7, instead.

GFL reminds customers to place carts curbside no later than 6 a.m. on the rescheduled service days.

“Please be patient,” it noted in a release. “Crews will likely need more time to collect carts safely due to road conditions and frigid temperatures this week.”
