CAROLINA BEACH — A coastline park in Carolina Beach will be closed on Friday and Saturday, Dec. 5 and 6, due to the Coastal Storm Risk Management project underway.

The beach is being renourished with sand and will include crews installing a booster pump near the entrance of Freeman Park. It will include the park’s closure for two days this weekend, to reopen to the public by Sunday, Dec. 7.

Progress on the renourishment can be tracked here.
