Monday, June 2
The Wilmington City Council will hold an agenda review at 8:30 a.m. in city hall, 102 N. Third St. Meetings are livestreamed here.
The New Hanover County Commissioners will meet at 4 p.m. in the NHC Courthouse, 24 N. Third St. Meetings are livestreamed here. The agenda includes:
- Public hearing on the 2025-2026 budget
Pender County Commissioners will meet at 4 p.m., 805 South Walker Street, Burgaw. The agenda includes an emergency services merger plan update, 2024 State of the County Health Report, and a status update on the Central Pender Park Project. The livestream can be accessed here.
Brunswick County Board of Commissioners will meet at 3 p.m. at 30 Government Center Dr. Meetings can be watched here and the agenda includes:
- Public hearing for the 2025-2026 budget, fees and capital improvement plan
- Board appointments, including Board of Adjustment ETJ Appointment – Calabash
Southport Board of Alderman will meet at 9 a.m. at 223 E. Bay St. Meetings can be streamed here and the agenda includes:
- Resolution requiring the live streaming and recording of the Board of Adjustment meetings
- Southport emergency operation plan
- Amendments to update the UDO for consistency with NC general statutes
Bald Head Island Commercial Review Board will hold a special meeting at 10 a.m. in the Multipurpose Room of the Department of Public Safety Building, 273 Edward Teach Extension, Bald Head Island. Access a Zoom link to the meeting here and the agenda includes:

Leland Tourism Development Authority will meet at 11 a.m. in town hall. The agenda includes discussion of its strategic policy and grant policy.
Tuesday, June 3
The Wilmington City Council will meet at 6:30 p.m. in city hall, 102 N. Third St. Meetings are livestreamed here. The agenda includes:
- Ordinance Amending the Land Development Code, Chapter 18, to Eliminate Special Use Permits and Replace with Conditional Zoning
- Ordinance Making Supplemental Appropriations in the Amount of $431,200 from the North Carolina Department of Transportation for the Downtown Trail Phase 1 Design Project
- 2025-2026 budget

The Town of Wrightsville Beach Planning Board will meet at 5:30 p.m., in Council Chambers, 321 Causeway Drive. The agenda includes a text amendment to replace the special use permitting process with conditional zoning. The meeting will be uploaded here.
Pender County Planning Board will meet at 7 p.m. in the Hampstead Annex Auditorium, 15060 US Highway 17. The agenda includes a rezoning request for 600 acres in Topsail Township from a rural agricultural zoning district to conditional zoning for the development of 906 single family homes. Surf City Town Council will meet at 4:30 p.m., Surf City Municipal Complex, 214 W Florence Way. The agenda includes FY 25/26 budget adoption, public hearing, and amendments. The meeting will be livestreamed here.
The Wilmington Housing Authority will meet at 4 p.m. in Rankin Terrace, 415 N. 12th St. An agenda was not posted by press.
The Pender County Board of Education will hold a special meeting at 1 p.m. to discuss the three-tiered bell schedule. The meeting will be livestreamed here.
The Brunswick County Board of Education will meet at 6 p.m. in the Cape Fear Room of The Center of Applied Sciences and Technology, 1109 Old Ocean Highway. Meetings are livestreamed here. The agenda includes:

Wednesday, June 4
The Wilmington Planning Commission will meet at 6 p.m. city hall, 102 N. Third St. Meetings are livestreamed here. The agenda includes:
- 3606 Market Street: General rezoning from O&I, Office and Institutional to CS, Commercial Services
- 3816 Market Street: General rezoning from O&I, Office and Institutional to CB, Community Business
New Hanover County Airport Authority will meet at 5 p.m. at the ILM Executive Conference Room. Items on the agenda include:
- Recommend approval of $94 million FY26 budget
- Recommend approval of phase 2 road and curb/parking garage project GMP contract with Monteith Construction NTE $78M
The Town of North Topsail Beach will meet at 11:00 a.m. in the Town Hall, 2008 Loggerhead Court. The agenda includes a motion to adopt the FY 25/26 budget ordinance. The meeting will be live streamed here.
Southport Historic Preservation Commission will meet at 4 p.m. in Indian Trail Hall, 113 W. Moore St. An agenda was not posted by press; the public is welcome to attend.
Cape Fear Public Utility Authority Finance and Executive Committee will meet at 235 Government Center Dr. The finance committee meets at 9 a.m. and the agenda includes a $5.8-million construction contract with Heath Grading and Utility, Inc. for the Lead Gooseneck and Galvanized Water Service Lateral Replacement Project. Thursday, June 5
Leland Town Council will hold a special meeting at 4:30 p.m. at town hall to conduct board and committee interviews. The agenda is here.
