NEW HANOVER COUNTY — A man has been arrested and charged with multiple felonies after detectives linked him to at least two recent shootings.

Detectives with the New Hanover Sheriff’s Office responded to a shooting into a home on Chair Road on Feb. 3, where over 20 rounds were shot into the residence. No one was injured.

In the following two days, the Wilmington Police Department responded to multiple shootings where large amounts of ammunition were fired.

On Feb. 5, a joint investigation with the NHSO and WPD determined that at least one of the shootings was linked to the Feb. 3 incident on Chair Road.

Detectives identified suspect Nasir Michael Holliday on Feb. 5 and executed multiple search warrants where they found several firearms, one of which was stolen.

Holliday was arrested without incident and is being held at the NHC Detention Facility under no bond.
