PENDER COUNTY — After students being relegated to virtual learning last week, they’ll return to the classroom in Pender County come Monday.

Safe transportation is available for students who ride the bus, and Penderlea School and Pender Early College will resume classes in person Monday.

All schools and central office open during normal operating hours on Aug. 12 as well. Employees who cannot safely travel to work and need to work virtually should contact their supervisor for approval.
