Male, vehicles shot in 14th Street incident

NEW HANOVER COUNTY — Law enforcement responded to a shooting incident Saturday evening that left one man transported to the hospital with critical injuries.

After 10:30 p.m. Wilmington Police Department responded to the 400 block of South 14th Street and found a male victim suffering from a gun shot wound. As well, vehicles from nearby residences had also been impacted and damaged.

An investigation is underway and anyone with information is asked to report tips to the WPD by calling 910-343-3609 or anonymously using the Tip411 app.
