Monday, June 3
The Brunswick County Board of Commissioners will have a special meeting at 1 p.m. at 30 Government Center Drive in Bolivia to discuss a recommended budget for the 2024-2025 fiscal year. The agenda can be found here.
Pender County Board of Commissioners will meet at 4 p.m. at Pender County Public Assembly Room, 805 S. Walker St, Burgaw, NC. The agenda includes a public hearing for the 2024-2025 budget.
The Wilmington City Council will meet at 8:30 a.m. in city hall, 102 N. Third St. for an agenda review. Meetings are livestreamed here.
The Pender County Board of Education will have a special meeting at 11 a.m. in the Dr. Katherine Herring Resource Center 798 Us Highway 117 S. Meetings are livestreamed here. The agenda includes:

The Town of Belville’s Planning Board will have a meeting at 6:30 p.m. in the Commissioners’ Chambers at Town Hall, 63 River Road in Belville. The agenda has not been published.
Pender County Planning Board will meet at 7 p.m. at Pender County Public Assembly Room, 805 S. Walker St, Burgaw, NC. The agenda includes a request to modify the RM-CD1 zoning district to allow for private storage of boats, recreational vehicles, campers and trailers.
Wednesday, June 5
The City of Southport’s Board of Alderman will meet at 9 a.m. in the Southport Community Building, 223 E Bay St in Southport. Meetings are livestreamed here. The agenda includes:

The Wilmington Airport Authority meets at 6 p.m. in the ILM Executive Conference Room. The agenda includes recommended approval of the 2025 budget and $44,500, for InterVISTAS to conduct a baggage claim study evaluating the demand, capacity and alternatives for future baggage claim improvements. Meetings are open to the public.
CFPUA finance committee meets at 9 a.m. at 235 Government Center Dr. in NHC Room 136. The agenda includes monthly financial reports, $2.6 contract amendment with Calgon Carbon Corporation for carbon media reactivation and replacement service, and $875,000 contract with RDL Private Utility Locating, LLC for Underground Utility Locating Services. Afterward the CFPUA executive committee meets at 10 a.m. in the same location. The agenda includes executive director and attorney reports. Meetings are open to the public.

- Public hearing on a request by New Hanover County Planning & Land Use to amend the New Hanover County Comprehensive Plan to incorporate guidelines for residential densities and infill development
- Request by Samuel Franck with Ward and Smith, P.A., applicant, to amend Article 4 of the Unified Development Ordinance to change the use of Senior Living: Independent Living Retirement Community from requiring a Special Use Permit to permitted by-right in the RA, Rural Agricultural district
Oak Island’s Environmental Advisory Committee will have a meeting at 8:30 a.m. in the Ocean Education Center, 4700 E. Oak Island Drive. Meetings are not televised but are open to the public.
