Monday, Nov. 6
The Brunswick County Board of Education will hold a budget work session at 9 a.m. in the Brunswick County Schools Administrative Offices, 35 Referendum Drive. The agenda can be viewed here.
The Brunswick Board of Commissioners will meet at 3 p.m. at 30 Government Center in Bolivia. Items on the agenda include a resolution in Support of NCDOT Application for the Replacement of the Cape Fear Memorial Bridge, a Wellpath proposal letter approval for inmate medical services, and declaration of surplus property. Wilmington City Council will hold an agenda briefing at 8:30 a.m. at city hall, 102 N. Third St. The meeting can be livestreamed on YouTube and GTV8.
New Hanover County Board of Commissioners will meet at 4 p.m. at the NHC Historic Courthouse, 24 N. Third St. The meeting can be livestreamed on YouTube and NHCTV. A few items on the agenda include:
- Consideration to purchase property for the Gordon Road fire station and declare county-owned property 6102 Gordon Road as surplus
- Public hearing to rezone 1.63 acres at 6218 Carolina Beach Road to regional business for a rental truck office and warehousing facility
- Request by Porters Neck Village to rename approximately the 300-foot long private road Plantation Drive to Village Center Drive.

- A coastal forest overlay district ordinance update
- A site plan review for subdivision Duneridge
NHC-City Wilmington Community Relations Advisory Committee will meet at 5 p.m. for a joint meeting with the New Hanover County Schools Equity, Diversity, and Inclusion Committee. The meeting will be held at the Board of Education Center, 1805 S. 13th St, and include discussion on foster fellowship, an update on the August Listening Session and begin a dialogue about collaboration.

The Cape Fear Public Utility Authority will have its annual authority board meeting at 9 a.m. The board will go over its annual report and cover a few ordinances, including appropriating funding for a residential pilot connection program and execution of $10.7 million for the replacement of gravity sewer in downtown Wilmington. The Wrightsville Beach Board of Aldermen will meet at 5:30 p.m. in Town Hall, 321 Causeway Drive. The agenda includes:
- Public hearing on an amendment to the special use permit for property located at 534 Causeway Drive to add outside seating and consider a parking exception
- Update on the Arindale drainage project and consider approval for a budget amendment

The Bald Head Island Village Council will hold a special meeting at 10 a.m. in the Department of Public Safety Building, 273 Edward Teach Extension.
