Traffic delays expected at New Centre Drive and Market Streets

WILMINGTON — According to Wilmington Police Department, motorists can expect delays at the New Centre Drive and Market Street Saturday morning.

The intersection is currently without power. WPD reports a traffic control box was struck by an impaired driver, which caused the outage.

WPD officers are working to create an alternate traffic configuration. Drivers may want to seek an alternate route if possible.
