Moores Creek Battlefield closed through Sunday

PENDER COUNTY — An historic site in Pender County will remained closed through at least Sunday, according to officials.

The threat of flooding has caused hazardous conditions along park trails and roads. Staff will determine Monday, Sept. 25, if the battlefield can reopen, according to a release.
