
WILMINGTON — A Wilmington man was arrested over the weekend for possessing a firearm.
Robert Gore, 54, had a handgun in his vehicle which Wilmington Police Department officers discovered during a traffic stop near Ninth and Queen streets around 11:30 p.m. Saturday.
When Gore was asked to exit the vehicle, he started grabbing his waistband, and officer discovered he had a firearm when he was searched.
He is in jail under a $50,000 secured bond.
