The park will be closed from Sept. 5 until Sept. 8 for the public’s safety as crews begin to install the boundary line off U.S. 17.
Orange construction fencing and signage will be erected across the current entrance to the Abbey Nature Preserve as a safety precaution. The entrance will eventually become an access road to a new development planned by Mungo Homes.
A temporary entrance will be set up off Scotts Hill Loop Road while 137 single-family homes are built in phase one.
