WILMINGTON — Cape Fear Public Utility Authority customers can head to the New Hanover County Government Center lobby for in-person business until further notice as crews continue to correct a plumbing leak discovered in CFPUA’s offices last week.

The government center is located at 230 Government Center Drive and will be open Wednesday beginning at 9 a.m. Thereafter, regular weekday office hours will continue 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Customers can park in the government center lot on the east side of the building.

CFPUA’s downtown location, 305 Chestnut Street, is also open for in-person visits.

The utility authority’s drop box located outside of 235 Government Center Drive will continue to accept bill payments, processed daily on regular business days. Customers are advised not to use the drop box outside the New Hanover County Government Center; it’s reserved for county tax payments.

CFPUA accounts can also be managed by calling 910-332-6550 or going online here.
