2 men arrested on gun charges

WILMINGTON — An arrest was made Sunday after an anonymous tip was received regarding two men wearing ski-masks walking on 30th Street.

Around 3 p.m. on Aug. 13, Wilmington Police Department officers located the men in the 500 block of Manly Avenue and searched the grounds, finding two handguns in the backyard.

Officers charged 19-year-old Sencere Ortiz with carrying a concealed weapon-gun, possession of schedule VI controlled substance, and possession of drug paraphernalia. He received a $5,000 secured bond.

Dorian McNeil, 21, was charged with felony carrying a concealed weapon-gun and given a $10,000 secured bond.
