NEW HANOVER COUNTY — Citizens who wish to take part in local government have a chance through positions open on almost a dozen committees and boards.
Those who wish to apply must live in New Hanover County. They can do so by finding applications at the New Hanover County Government Center, 230 Government Center Dr. or by accessing information here.
The deadline to apply is Sept. 1, 2023. The NHC Board of Commissioners will make selections at its Sept. 18, 2023 meeting.
