Lane closure on 17th Street due to sewer repair

WILMINGTON — A traffic shift has gone into effect Friday for an emergency sewer repair, according to Cape Fear Public Utility Authority.

It affects the 200 block of 17th Street, wherein the righthand northbound lane is closed to traffic.

Traffic has now shifted into the lefthand lane along 17th, between Ann Street and Carolina Avenue.

CFPUA estimates repairs will take four hours.
