CAROLINA BEACH — Local farmers, artisans and makers will be lined around the Carolina Beach Lake starting this weekend.

Every Saturday the beach town hosts its farmers market from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m.

Fifty or more vendors are set up to sell local fruits and vegetables, dairy products, wines, meats, baked goods and natural soaps, as well as handmade art and other items.

The market is free to attend and pet friendly. Live music is often featured as well.
