WILMINGTON –– A “real-time” market research platform, Suzy, will bring 40 jobs to Wilmington over the next three years. Next month, it will establish its technology hub in downtown Wilmington, according to a Wilmington Chamber of Commerce press release.
The average annual salary for the new jobs will be $120,000. Suzy will move into the third floor of the Bank of America building on Third Street in November.
The workplace will be hybrid, one that “cares about work-life balance,” Suzy’s chief technology officer William Mansfield said in the release.
“The old-fashioned way of focusing on volume and size as the primary driver for success is over. To build a company in today’s age, one must focus on quality,” Mansfield said. “Our new office in Wilmington will provide the foundation for our hybrid workforce to grow without sacrifice.
This year Forbes named Suzy one of the nation’s best startup employers, ranked 30th out of 2,500 organizations. Suzy is pursuing attracting and engaging an “entirely remote workforce,” while simultaneously expanding mental health benefits, frequent employee surveys, and more –– all of which factored into its ranking on the Forbes list.
The company has launched two products and raised $78 million since last year.
“Suzy has disrupted the standard marketing research pricing model away from cost per response to a SaaS offering which licenses to customers, providing on-demand insights with more flexibility and predictability,” the release states. “By integrating technology into the platform, Suzy delivers actionable insights much faster than any current alternative provider.”
Founded in 2018, the New York City-based company has attracted titan industries as its clients, including Microsoft, Citibank, Unilever, and KraftHeinz, according to Business Wire.
Several Wilmington job positions are already posted online.
