SOUTHEASTERN N.C. — New Hanover County Schools reported 12 cases of Covid-19 in the last week before spring break.
Forty-eight people were directed to quarantine for exposure of the virus in school, according to NHCS’ public online dashboard.
Since Oct. 12, NHCS has reported 857 positive cases total.

Brunswick County Schools
Brunswick County Schools is reporting nine active Covid-19 cases and 63 precautionary quarantines as of Friday afternoon.
Since Aug. 21, the school system has recorded 408 positive cases overall.

Pender County Schools’ most recent Covid-19 update, from March 22-28, reported seven cases and 25 quarantines.
The online report updates Monday and includes any positive cases the school system is aware of through either self-reporting and the Pender County Health Department.
Since Aug. 1, 535 staff and students in PCS tested positive for the virus.
