Update: Pender deputies identify suspect in Hampstead car break-ins

UPDATE (11:17 a.m. Friday, Sept. 25) — The suspect in the above video has been identified, according to the Pender County Sheriff’s Office.

HAMPSTEAD — The Pender County Sheriff’s Office is requesting public assistance in identifying two individuals who allegedly broke into cars in Majestic Oaks and surrounding neighborhoods in Hampstead earlier this month.

The break-ins took place in the early morning hours of Sunday, September 6 and Monday, September 7, according to the PCSO.

The videos show a suspect with long hair unsuccessfully attempting to open the doors of three different vehicles before walking away from the driveways.

Anyone who can identify the two individuals in the above videos, or who may have any information regarding the suspects, is asked to contact the Pender County Sheriff’s office at (910) 259-1212.
