WILMINGTON — Authorities say one man is dead after an argument turned into a violent physical altercation.
According to the Wilmington Police Department (WPD), officers responded to a call about ‘victim not breathing’ at the Family Dollar at 1313 Greenfield Street. Officers found 50-year-old Terry Lee Jones of Wilmington unresponsive.
Witness told WPD officers that 42-year-old Warren Earl Robinson as was allegedly responsible for Jones’ injures.
EMS arrived shortly afterward and transported Jones to the New Hanover Regional Medical Center where he was pronounced dead.
WPD arrested Robinson on a 2nd-degree murder charge. He has not yet been processed and given a bond at the New Hanover County Detention Center; this article will be updated when that information is made available.
