WILMINGTON — A procession for U.S. Army Specialist Antonio Moore will be held Saturday.
“Moore, who was assigned to the 363rd Engineer Battalion, 411th Engineer Brigade, died in a rollover accident while conducting route clearing operations in eastern Syria,” according to WECT.
The Wilmington native attended Hoggard High School, where he played football. He was 22 when he died.
According to the Wilmington Fire Department, Moore will arrive at the airport around noon and the precession will begin between 12:20 p.m. — 12:30 p.m.
The route is as follows:

- South on 23rd St
- East on MLK
- South on College
- Right on 41st St
- Wilmington Burial and Cremation
