WILMINGTON — Southerners, and in particular Wilmingtonians, rejoice: Bojangles’ is testing a pimento cheese biscuit for the first time — and it’s only available in the Wilmington metro area.
Bojangles’ announced Friday it will soon roll out a “melty, cheddary” pimento cheese biscuit. A Cajun Filet Biscuit with pimento cheese will also be available at select Wilmington-region locations.
Bojangles’ calls the new option a “mouth-watering twist on our iconic, beloved biscuit that you absolutely must experience.”
Pimento biscuits will only be available for a limited time at Bojangles’ in Wilmington, Shallotte, Leland, Hampstead, Southport, Supply, Burgaw, and Whiteville, North Carolina.
“We are pleased to test this amazing product in the Wilmington area, where we have so many loyal Bojangles’ fans. Consumers in the market are already telling us how much they love the Pimento Cheese Biscuit,” Brian Little, Senior Director of Corporate Communication at Bojangles’ said in a release Friday. “It’s only going to be available for a limited time, so if you’re in the Wilmington area, make sure you try this one-of-a-kind biscuit.”
