
Update Tuesday, October 2 – Alexandria Zyaire Adams has been located and returned to her mother, according to the New Hanover County Sheriff’s Office.
NEW HANOVER COUNTY — The New Hanover County Sheriff’s Office is asking for the public’s help to find a teenage girl who went missing earlier this week.
Alexandria Zyaire Adams. 16. was last seen on Monday, Sept.27 in the Wrighsboro area north of Wilmington.
According to the Sheriff’s Office (NHCSO), Alexandria is 5-foot, 6-inches, 150 pounds with a slender build. She has brown eyes and dark hair with blonde tips. NHCSO described Alexandria as “mixed” race, black and white. She has no known tattoos or distinguishing marks.
Alexandria was last seen around 1 p.m. on the day she went missing, she was near trailer 12 in the mobile home park at 2709 Castle Hayne Road. When last seen, she was wearing a “Camo outfit with white strips down the sides and her belly was exposed.” according to NHCSO.
According to NHCSO, Alexandria is not currently attending school, but previously attended New Hanover and J.C. Roe.
