Cash and jewelry stolen from Wilmington funeral home

WILMINGTON — The Wilmington Police Department is investigating a breaking and entering of a funeral home on Tuesday morning.
 
Police responded to the Quinn McGowan funeral home, 315 Willow Woods Drive, shortly after 9 a.m. on Tuesday, Feb. 6.
 
An employee arrived to work around 9:05 a.m. and discovered jewelry missing from a display case and cash had been stolen.
 
WPD spokeswoman Jennifer Dandron said there was no sign of forced entry and the last employee had left the funeral home around 8 p.m. on Monday, Feb 5.
