WILMINGTON — Five local restaurants are set to be featured on the Food Network show, “Diners, Drive-Ins and Dives.”
Sweet ‘n Savory Café, Copper Penny, Something Fishy, Fork N Cork and Ceviche’s will each receive a visit from Guy Fieri and his film crew next week, on Wednesday and Thursday, Jan. 24 and 25.
Guy Fieri will be in town for a fundraiser for GLOW Academy and is hosting a private breakfast in Landfall on Friday, Jan. 26 to raise funds for the all-girls school.
The co-founder of GLOW Academy is Judy Girard, former Food Network president. Emeril Lagasse visited in 2016 and Giada De Laurentiis held and event last year.
Customers are advised to check ahead with these restaurants: not all may be open to the public or may be already booked to capacity during filming. Restaurant owners could not comment on the filming due to confidentiality agreement with Citizen Pictures, the production company for “Diners, Drive-Ins and Dives.”
