WILMINGTON — The Wilmington Police Department is asking for the public’s help in finding a suspect in connection with an armed robbery of the Kangaroo Express convenience store on 6480 Market Street on Wednesday evening.
According to Police Spokeswoman Jennifer Dandron, police responded at approximately 9:40 p.m. to reports of an armed robbery. Witnesses claim the suspect entered the store wearing a hoodie that covered his face and a hat. The suspect demanded money and threatened to shoot the clerk. After taking an undisclosed amount of money, the suspect fled and headed east.
The suspect is described as a black male and approximately six feet tall.
