CAROLINA BEACH — The Town of Carolina Beach is another step closer to receiving its one of a kind Huddle House with rooftop seating after plans were submitted to the town earlier this month.
Huddle House is an Atlanta based 24-hour restaurant which is known for its “round-the-clock breakfast” options; the restaurant chain does not have any locations in New Hanover County yet. Huddle House was founded in 1964 by John Sparks in Decatur Georgia, and offers franchise opportunities; currently, there are 14 locations in North Carolina, with the nearest location in Lumberton.
The restaurant will be located at 109 Hamlet Avenue, off South Lake Park Boulevard. The Carolina Beach Technical Review Committee reviewed the plans on Aug. 21, during its regular scheduled meeting.
