BRUNSWICK COUNTY — Investigators with the Brunswick County Sheriff’s Office Criminal Investigations Unit have arrested a Calabash man on child pornography charges.
According to the Brunswick County Sheriff’s Office, 19-year-old Benjamin Batten Lindsey of Bennett Trail, Calabash, has been charged with two counts of second degree exploitation of a minor and two counts of third degree exploitation of a minor.
Investigators conducted a search warrant of his residence where multiple computers and cell phones were seized. He was booked into the Brunswick County Detention Facility where he remains under a $500,000 bond.
The investigation remains ongoing.
