Update: Isaac Lee Messer was located safe on Sunday evening. Brunswick County authorities have cancelled the alert and search for him.
BRUNSWICK COUNTY — Sheriff’s deputies are searching for a missing teen who disappeared this morning.
Isaac Lee Messer, 14, was last seen at his house in Supply. He left the residence on Holden Beach Road around 9:45 a.m. Saturday morning.
Isaac is a five-foot, five-inch young white male, weighting about 125 pounds; he has brown eyes and brown hair. Detectives believe he left on foot.
According to detectives with the Brunswick County Sheriff’s Office, Messer was wearing blue jeans and a red shirt, he was also carrying a red Air Jordan backpack when he left. However, it is believed he may have changed clothes.
