BOLIVIA — Bikers, kayakers, wildlife enthusiasts and more now have access to Brunswick County’s recently released trail map plan online. Residents will also receive a tear-resistant printed map, according to the county’s newsletter.
The trail plan consists of three different maps, including a proposed trail map, existing trail map (countywide), and a municipalities trail map.
The countywide trail plan project was approved by the Brunswick County Board of Commissioners in March of this year and it, “identifies routes for walking, biking, and paddling that exist today and proposes new routes to better link communities throughout Brunswick County together,” according to the county’s website.
Brunswick County held several public input meetings in 2016 regarding the connectivity and construction of the greenways and blueways, as well as offered a survey for residents to voice their opinions.
