OCEAN ISLE BEACH — A small plane crash sent two people to the hospital in Ocean Isle Beach Wednesday night.
There were no reported fatalities, Town Administrator Daisy Ivey said.
The Federal Aviation Administration’s Arlene Salac said: “A Beechcraft Musketeer BE23 aircraft crashed into the woods after departure from the Odell Williamson Municipal Airport, Ocean Isle Beach, NC at 7:10 p.m. last night.”
The Beechcraft Musketeer is a single engine, light-weight aircraft.
The FAA is planning to investigate the accident, Salac said.
