WILMINGTON — Fans of the CW’s long-running “One Tree Hill,” which filmed in the Port City for nine seasons, can still get a chance to meet stars of the show.
After a brief detour to Chicago, EyeCon returns to Wilmington for its sixth “One Tree Hill” convention.
This year’s event features Sophia Bush, Ashley Rickards and Robert Buckley at the Wilmington Convention Center for a three-day event. The convention opens Friday, May 5, and concludes with a concert on the evening of Sunday, May 7.

Bush, who played Brooke Davis for nine years on the show, is the convention’s highest-profile guest, appearing only during Sunday for a question-and-answer session and a private meet-and-greet. Bush currently stars on “Chicago P.D.” on NBC.
Buckley, who starred in the final three seasons of “One Tree Hill,” announced his appearance last week. Buckley returned to the CW for the show “iZombie,” now in its third season.
Buckley will appear both Saturday and Sunday, as will Rickards, who got her break on the show before going on to star in the MTV series “Awkward.”
The convention will be held at the Wilmington Convention Center, 515 Nutt St. Tickets are available from Eyecon.
