WILMINGTON — Wilmington, North Carolina’s award-winning custom homebuilder, Plantation Building Corp., is pleased to welcome real estate sales veteran, Kevin Hine, to its talented team of building professionals.
Kevin will join the company’s sales team, bringing a seasoned real estate portfolio of land development and new home construction experience to the growing company’s client list.

Kevin graduated from UNC-CH and began his real estate career with accounting firm, Arthur Andersen & Co., where he advised a diverse group of real estate clients and high-profile golf community developers. He later joined the Executive Team at Chapel Hill’s exclusive golf community, Governors Club, as CFO. Nine years later, The Murphy Family recruited Kevin to help launch the family’s residential land development business, including River Landing in nearby Duplin County. During his tenure, Kevin sold an impressive 1,000 properties, representing over $300 million.
Kevin Hine Most recently served as vice president of sales and marketing at well-respected semi-custom homebuilder Hagood Homes. There, Kevin developed an in-house sales structure that helped to quadruple home sales in a 5-year period. He will bring his knowledge of the industry to Plantation’s design-build table.
