UPDATED 4:40 p.m.
WILMINGTON — Police are searching for the vehicle involved in a deadly hit-and-run Friday morning on Oleander Drive.
“The vehicle is a white work van,” Wilmington Police Spokeswoman Cathryn Lindsay told Port City Daily. “There’s no ladder or anything else to mark it as unique.”
Lindsay did say the vehicle had “possible right front-end damage,” related to the impact this morning.
Police have obtained video of the incident, although Lindsay could not confirm from where. The vehicle was seen traveling eastbound – toward Wrightsville Beach – at around 6:45 a.m. when it struck and killed Joshua Krag Roydes, 29, of Wilmington.
WPD spent the morning “canvassing the area for security footage,” according to Lindsay.
