WILMINGTON — The Cape Fear Fencing Association held a youth tournament over the weekend, inviting students of various ages to compete if three disciplines — foil, saber and epee.
Established in 1997, the Cape Fear Fencing Association is a USFA-sanctioned club that meets regularly at St. Mary’s School, at Fifth and Ann Streets in historic downtown Wilmington. The club has programs for adults and children, ranging from beginner fundamentals to expert tactics. Private lessons are also available.
The associations meets Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays at 7;30 p.m. and
Saturday mornings at 10 a.m.
