Photos of Donald Trump’s visit to Wilmington

WILMINGTON –  Donald Trump, the Republican Party’s presidential nominee, touched voter ID laws, Bernie Sanders’ supporters and his Democratic opponent, Hillary Clinton, when he made a campaign stop in Wilmington Tuesday.

Trump’s rally was sponsored by University of North Carolina – Wilmington’s Republican Club. The visit drew thousands of supporters of all ages, as well as hundreds of protesters, also of all ages, who ignored the heat to make their feelings on businessman-turned-politician known.

Trump was introduced by former New York Mayor and now his campaign adviser Rudy Giuliani, who told the crowd that Trump’s rise had the establishment of both major political parties “shaking.”
