Wilmington police are investigating a shooting that left one man dead Saturday night.
Police responded to a ShotSpotter alert in the 1300 block of Greenfield Street at about 6:30 p.m., according to Wilmington Police Department Spokeswoman Cathryn Lindsay.
One man was found dead at the scene, Lindsay said. Another man was taken to New Hanover Regional Medical Center for treatment. The man’s condition is unknown at this time.
The investigation is ongoing. Lindsay said the shooting doesn’t appear to be gang-related.
