City construction crews are responding to a failed storm drain, which has caused a sinkhole on the corner of Kerr Avenue and Emerson Street, according to Dylan Lee, spokesman for the City of Wilmington.
The Wilmington Police Department is currently redirecting traffic, and advises travelers to use an alternate route.
City officials were unable to provide additional details at the time of publication.
