The Brooklyn Arts Center will host “The Holiday Flea at BAC” next weekend.
The “ultimate vintage flea” will take place 3-9 p.m. Friday, Nov. 22; 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 23; and noon-5 p.m. Sunday, Nov. 24.
The event has been attended by more than 1,000 shoppers and dozens of vintage vendors from around the region and features a wide array of vintage, retro, and upcycled treasures—with Wilmington’s finest food trucks feeding the crowds, Grinder’s Caffé coffee shop in the courtyard and the BAC cash bar serving liquid refreshments.
Admission to the flea is $5—good for all three days. Each guest receives a raffle ticket with the price of admission. Kids 12 and under are free.
Located 516 North Fourth St.—the corner of Campbell and North Fourth streets—BAC is a huge, historic church, built in 1888, that has been refurbished to accommodate concerts and other events. There’s plenty of free street parking in our resurgent North Fourth neighborhood, or you can park in downtown Wilmington—two minutes away—and take the free trolley, which stops across the street from the venue, according to event organizers.
