A wastewater spill was reported in Brunswick County last Friday.
Brunswick County Public Utilities reported a discharge of untreated wastewater from a sewer line at 2730 St. James Drive in St. James on Sept. 14.
Approximately 1,500 gallons of wastewater spilled, which has been attributed to a cable contractor directional bore. County utilities personnel contained the sewer spill and removed the wastewater from the surface area.
